Taylor Momsen's BiographyTaylor Michel Momsen was born on July 26 1993 in St. Louis, Missouri. to Michael and Colette Momsen. The 5' 7 1/2" blonde actress started her career in a national commercial for Shake-N-Bake.
Her first acting role came along in 1999 as Honey Bee Swan in The Prophet's Game. She then appeared with Jim Carrey as Cindy Lou in How The Grinch Stole Christmas in 2000. She then appeared as Julie Moore in We Were Soldiers in 2002. Her younger sister, Sloane was also in the film with her.
Her acting career accelerated into high gear and she landed roles in the movie Hansel & Gretel in 2002, Spy Kids II, Saving Shiloh and Doubting Thomas. In 2006 she was in the WB series Misconceptions in the lead role. The series was cancelled.
Taylor went on to play a major role in the film Underdog and then landed a role on Gossip Girl as Jenny Humphrey for the 2007 season. She also filmed Doubting Thomas which is scheduled for release in 2008.
