Brad Pitt's BiographyWilliam Bradley Pitt was born December 18, 1963 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The 5'11" Brad Pitt was raised in Springfield, Missouri.
His mother's name is Jane Etta Hillhouse. His father, William (Bill) Pitt, worked in management at a trucking firm in Springfield. He has a younger brother, Douglas (Doug) Pitt and a younger sister Julie Neal Pitt.
At Kickapoo High School, he was involved in sports, debating, student government and school musicals. Brad attended the University of Missouri, where he majored in journalism with a focus on advertising. He occasionally acted in fraternity shows. He was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, the Xi Xi chapter, at The University of Missouri - Columbia
Brad left college two credits short of graduating to move to California. Before he became successful at acting, Brad supported himself by driving strippers in limos, moving refrigerators and dressing as a giant chicken while working for a restaurant called "el Pollo Loco."
In 1987 he appeared in the soap opera Another World. He also had a small uncredited part in the films No Man's Land & Less Than Zero. He filmed four episodes on the popular TV Show Dallas.
A breakout role for Brad was in the film Thema & Louise in 1991 with Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis. He played a young stud. In 1993 he starred in Kalifornia with Juliette Lewis who he was dating at the time.
In 1994 he became a huge fan favorite with Legends Of The Fall. From there he broke through with Se7en with Gwyneth Paltrow who he got involved with and eventually became engaged to. Gwyneth and Brad caused a media frenzy and quickly became the new "Golden Couple".
Several films followed with cemented Brad's status as a leading man including Seven Years In Tibet which ultimately got him banned from visiting China.
His engagement with Gwyneth eventually ended and he got involved with Jennifer Aniston who was considered America's Sweetheart for her role on Friends. They married in a 1 million dollar wedding ceremony and remained married until they split due to rumors of his relationship with Angelina Jolie.
Brad and Angelina deny that they got involved before he and Jennifer ended their relationship. A lot of rumors were involved in the reason for the split including lack of children in the Pitt/Aniston marriage.
Although Brad and Angelina have not married, they have three adopted children and three natural children for a total of six children together.
Brad has been noted for his many hairstyles and hair colors. When he and Jennifer Aniston were together he visited her celebrity hairdresser, Chris McMillan.
