Jennifer Aniston's Biography:
Jennifer Joanna Aniston was born in Sherman Oaks, California on February 11, 1969 (Aquarius). She was the only daughter of actor John Aniston - Victor Kiriakis, on the daytime soap "Days of Our Lives" - and his wife, Nancy Dow.
During her childhood Jen, as her friends call her, spent a year in Greece. Her family then relocated back to New York City and at the age of 9 her parents went through a divorce which was difficult for the young Jennifer to deal with.
At the age of 11 Jen joined the 'Rudolf Steiner' School's drama club. It was at the 'Rudolf Steiner' School that she developed her passion for art.
She began her professional training as a drama student at New York's High School of the Performing Arts.
In 1987, after graduation, she appeared in such Off-Broadway productions as "For Dear Life" and "Dancing on Checker's Grave".
In 1989, she landed her first television role, as a series regular on "Molloy" (1990). She also appeared in "The Edge" (1992), "Ferris Bueller" (1990), and had a recurring part on "Herman's Head" (1991).
Between her part in Herman's Head and 1994, she won the part as Rachel Green on "Friends Like These" she didn't find acting parts. In press interviews she has said that she believe the absence of good acting opportunities did not come along because of her weight, which she claims was too much for her height, during that time.
Jennifer was asked to audition for the role of Monica Geller. She refused and instead auditioned for the role of Rachel Green, the suburban princess turned coffee peddler.
With the success of the series "Friends" (1994), Jennifer became famous and very sought-after. She began turning her hiatus time between Friends into film roles.
Jennifer is also famous for her hair which was dubbed "The Rachel". She wore the short layered bouncy bob hairstyle during Season 1 and Season 2 of Friends. It became an International phenomenon and was copied by females and males alike.
In addition to her work on Friends, in films and her hair, Jen has had a famous list of boyfriends and was married for five years to actor Brad Pitt who left and became a couple with actress Angelina Jolie.
Since her divorce from Brad, Jen has dated some of the world's most eligible and handsome bachelors including British model Paul Sculfor, actor Vince Vaughn, actor Orlando Bloom and musican John Mayer.
